Tomorrow’s show is going to be a good one. Our guest is Zac Triemert, the founder of the new Lucky Bucket Brewing Company. Zac is a very sharp guy and he’s incredibly enthusiastic about his beer, which he should be, it’s fantastic. It should be an awesome interview. And it’s still up in the air whether or not he’s going to bring samples (we’re crossing our fingers).
And we’re in the thick of the NCAA Basketball tourney, so if you want to feel good about yourself, tune in and listen to how bad our brackets are.
And I’m sure there will be some relevant young-professional talk interspersed somewhere in the show.
So tune in, and remember to email or call in with any questions or comments you may have.

I am thoroughly confused by this story:
“American Legion Strongly Opposed to President’s Plan to Charge Wounded Heroes for Treatment.”
Here’s the gist of it:
The leader of the nation’s largest veterans organization says he is “deeply disappointed and concerned” after a meeting with President Obama today to discuss a proposal to force private insurance companies to pay for the treatment of military veterans who have suffered service-connected disabilities and injuries. The Obama administration recently revealed a plan to require private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in such cases.
The plan is apparently being enacted to save the government some $540 million.
Now, as far as I am concerned, if I were a veteran, I would rather go through private insurance anyway.
Now that said…I thought Obama was all about nationalizing health care? I mean, it was the main plank of his campaign. And now he wants wounded veterans to use their own insurance to pay for battle wounds? How on earth does this make sense?
I for one believe that our veterans should never have to worry about paying for a hospital bill due to anything involving active duty. So how is a president who ran on universal health care going to make these guys (and gals) pay for battle wounds with their own insurance?
I would have to believe there is more to this story. But if there is not, it is indeed an incredibly disappointing turn of events.
In other news, Saturday’s show isn’t available for download yet…we hope to have it up as soon as possible.
As always, thanks for tuning in.

Sorry for the delay, but here is Saturday’s enthralling episode of The Weekly Grind.
March 7, 2009
We had representatives from All About Omaha on talking about their annual Torchlight Ball, along with more Creighton Basketball discussion than we thought we’d ever have…all the while making Mike sound like an idiot.
A special thanks to Pott County Attorney Eric Strovers to come down and break down the Bluejays playing in the Valley Tourney, and a very special thanks to all our listeners giving us breakfast recommendations. We will announce our new pre-show meeting place next week.
Speaking of next week, this Saturday we will be talking with the Young Professionals Council about upcoming events. And our featured guest will be TAD KUBLER, lead guitarist of the greatest rock & roll band in America, THE HOLD STEADY!!
Thanks as always for your continued support.
