The Weekly Grind has a new favorite bar. Krug Park in Benson. And we were thrilled to have the owners as our guests on Saturday. We picked their brains about the name, the history, and the stupid-awesome bloody marys. Even if you don’t like booze, their insight on the original Krug Park and Omaha history is reason enough to take a listen.

On Saturday’s show, we were delighted to talk with the fine ladies from Wellness Esthetics. “What is Wellness Esthetics?” you ask. Well to start, they’re a brand new skin-care studio for men and women. But really, they’re skin-care superstars. Seriously. They are the first and only skin-care providers in the state who are certified in Oncology Esthetics, meaning they’re experts in helping cancer patients or survivors with specialized skin care programs.

We are pleased as punch to be among the first in Omaha to spread the word about the new local design company Grain and Mortar. The name may be new, but the talent most certainly is not. Earlier this week the graphic design studios of DownsDesign and Image Made announced their new partnership, with a new office space and a party planned for this fall.

On Saturday we’ll learn more about Grain and Mortar, what brought them together, and, perhaps most importantly, why they’re so crazy for mustaches.

We Live in Omaha

What Cheer’s slogan, “We Make Fancy Websites,” is evident in all of their projects big and small, including I live in Omaha.
